Three titles in a row

Kyle Ryde, the reigning British Superbike champion, will race for Honda Racing UK in 2027 in a three-rider line-up. He has won three titles in a row since 2024, and this season he became the first champion to win consecutive titles for two different manufacturers.

The championship says the move gives him a chance to shape the racing development of the new Fireblade.

Ryde said he has never worked with a factory team before. Helping with a bike's first year of racing development will be new for him. He named his team-mates Ryan and Dean, and said he could already see tracks on next year's calendar where Honda would have an advantage.

His winter plan is to go to Spain and put miles on a Fireblade track bike. "I don't look at it as testing as such, it's just enjoying my riding while I'm figuring a bike out," he said.
